DIY and Online Wills

For many years DIY will packs have been readily available, and now increasing numbers of online options are available for writing your own will.

This can provide a cheap alternative to using a solicitor or professional will writer, and if your circumstance are simple and straightforward, then it is preferable to have a DIY will than not to have a will.

However, with a DIY or online will, you still have the problems of physical will storage, and of your dependents being able to easily find your will.

In these cases we recommend you submit a copy of your DIY will to WillScan, via a registered solicitor or will-writer.

Please contact us to find your nearest professional who will be happy to review your will for possible errors or oversights, before uploading your will to the WillScan central archive.
